Harmony Vallejo has worked in marketing, communications, and business development for 20+ years. Before founding Universal Events, she began her career at WYTV, a TV station in Youngstown, Ohio. There, she developed an early passion for media and storytelling. She later joined Winners Advertising as a marketing representative, building strong relationships with clients and helping organizations improve their messaging and brand identity. Her experience still influences how we approach every project as a team.
Harmony earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Youngstown State University, where she also played Division 1 volleyball and contributed to the school newspaper. That background inspired her to create a career focused on helping others. Today, our company supports a range of for-profit and nonprofit partners through purpose-driven marketing, fundraising, and brand development initiatives.
Harmony leads with humility and consistency. She believes that every person has an opportunity to improve society, no matter how small their contribution may seem. She encourages our team to keep learning, stay grounded, and lead with compassion. The same mindset has helped us build partnerships with organizations that share our vision for meaningful, sustainable progress.
Beyond her leadership here, Harmony continues to mentor and guide emerging leaders, sharing her expertise in ethical communication, organizational growth, and brand development. Her goal has always been to make knowledge accessible to those who dedicate their work to helping others.
