A Little Friendly Competition Brings Out Your Best

In fact, Universal Events team members are given almost total control over their career trajectory, and do not have to wait for senior associates to move up in the ranks before they can seek a promotion since all our advances are awarded on merit.

One of the most powerful (and fun!) tools at our disposal to motivate and inspire team members to new heights of success is friendly competition. While we are all committed to helping D.A.R.E. America, it’s fun to try and outraise each other – especially when there are prizes on the line.

Our most recent contest has been our Universal Events version of March Madness. We’re competing with some sister offices from around the country to see which associate can raise the most money for D.A.R.E. America. Once we’re down to our Final Four, these talented professionals will fly from wherever they are to San Francisco, where the last stages of the competition will be held. Then, they’ll be invited to attend a Golden State Warriors game.
