We had so much fun representing Universal Events at the recent National L.E.A.D. Conference! The event, which took place February 23-24, featured some amazing keynote speakers, and allowed us to expand our networks as well. We came back to the home office with a healthy dose of inspiration, and some unique ideas for how we can achieve our biggest goals.

The LAPD sent representatives who focus on human trafficking to the conference. Speakers from the department laid out how serious the issue is, and what we can do to fight it. It was sobering for sure, but we feel much better informed and prepared to be part of the solution. The White House drug czar also spoke at the conference, shedding some light on current efforts to address the opioid crisis. We’re honored to be part of a movement for healthier communities, and these speeches gave us more motivation to succeed in our mission.

All our Universal Events travel plans bring us closer together on a personal level. The L.E.A.D. conference was no exception as we made time to enjoy our surroundings away from the event. It’s also fun to see our colleagues outside of our professional roles. We come back to work with a new appreciation for the special talents we’ve collected here.

We’re excited to attend more big events like the L.E.A.D. conference this year. Keep track of all our team travel plans by following Universal Events on Instagram.
