Universal Events Receives Proclamation from the Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners For Christmas Toy Drive

This past Christmas, we at Universal Events proudly received recognition from the Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners for our efforts to spread holiday cheer to children in our community. On December 25, 2024, the Board released a proclamation thanking Circle of Vision Keepers, Universal Events, and several partners from the community who helped distribute 3,000 toys to children in need. This honor reaffirms the impact of collaboration and the generosity of those who share the same vision to make a difference.

The holiday season is a challenging time for families struggling financially, and we believe no child should feel forgotten at Christmas. Led by Circle of Vision Keepers and supported by Universal Events, this initiative ensured that thousands of children in Montgomery County had the opportunity to open a holiday gift. This kind of joy, smiling, and excitement motivates us to keep running and serving.

No one could do this project alone. We are incredibly thankful to local partners who dedicate their efforts to supporting our clients: Exchange Club of Dayton, Federal Reentry Court Program, Valley Brethren Church, UAW Local 128, President’s Club of Dayton, and the Fazl-i-Umar Mosque. These organizations helped us get our hands on resources and support to make the toy drive happen. Their willingness to step up and donate their time and effort embodies what it means to be a part of a community that cares for each other.

Harmony Vallejo of Universal Events, whose determination to give back was an integral part of the initiative’s success, was also recognized in the proclamation. Harmony’s steadfast dedication to those in need has influenced numerous projects we’ve undertaken here at Universal Events, and this honor is a well-deserved recognition of her tireless service to others. Her faith that kindness and generosity can change lives remains an inspiration to us all.

It is an honor to receive this proclamation from the Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners, but the true reward is knowing thousands of children got to experience a moment of happiness during the holiday season. As such, we are grateful to work in solidarity with Circle of Vision Keepers and all of our community partners. We are determined to keep supporting and uplifting those in need.

We are driven to leverage this momentum into a brighter future. We invite others to become involved with us to the best of their ability, through donations, working in the community, or simply sharing the importance of supportive communities. Join us in spreading kindness and generosity to every child year-round, because no child should ever feel forgotten.

We are deeply grateful to the Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners for this recognition, our amazing partners who made this initiative possible, and all those who support this mission. This proclamation reminds us that we are capable of achieving great things when we join together. We hope to continue bringing hope and joy to those who need it most for many years.
