Universal Events closed the first quarter of 2026 with its strongest operational performance in company history — scaling back-office infrastructure across 14 states with a 23% year-over-year increase in organizations and programs served.
Our 2026 scholarship cohort includes twelve first-generation college students from nine cities where we operate. Each recipient receives $2,500 toward tuition plus a paid summer internship with one of our nonprofit partners.
A long-time partner organization we helped scale from two cities to nine reached a major milestone this month: one million children served through safety, literacy, and mentorship programs since 2018.
In recognition of Earth Month, Universal Events staff and volunteers participated in 28 neighborhood cleanup events across 11 cities, collecting more than 4,200 pounds of litter from parks, waterways, and public spaces.
Teams across 15 cities closed their offices for a single day to work food banks, shelters, and community kitchens. By the end of it, Universal Events staff had packed or served more than 10,000 meals for families facing food insecurity.
Our first-quarter literacy drive placed brand-new books into the hands of students across 12 Title I elementary schools. Teachers reported students requesting library time at three times the usual rate in the weeks that followed.
Maya Johnson joined Universal Events as an outreach coordinator in 2024. This month she was promoted to Regional Director overseeing three markets — the latest example of our promote-from-within culture in action.
Through a partnership with local Big Brothers Big Sisters chapters, Universal Events team members are now giving four hours a month to mentor young people in Phoenix, Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas — and the early feedback is overwhelmingly positive.
We are proud to announce an expanded operational partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital — providing community outreach and back-office infrastructure support across eight markets starting spring 2025.
